We’re excited to join The Heart of the East End on WLIW FM for a public talk with Twin Forks journalist Gianna Volpe, who highlights voices from all walks of life on Long Island’s East End. We’ll discuss our journey teaching meditation to the men and women of Yaphank Correctional Facility as part of the Sheriff’s Addiction Treatment Program.

Our conversation will explore how meditation empowers not just the incarcerated but all human beings to break free from harmful mental habits, cultivate inner stability beyond external circumstances, and how deep insight into our own minds leads to compassion for not just oneself but compassion for others.
